About

 I’m Katy! I’m an animation student and painter currently living and learning in Germany. I study at the university of applied sciences and arts of Hannover and am looking to finish my bachelors in 2023.

I have been painting for most of my life and love to capture the world around me. I enjoy reaching people through my pieces on the canvas and have discovered that what I want to do is make characters come to life and to tell living, breathing stories through the art of animation.

On free days I like to pass my time listening to music while sketching or painting and playing tabletop RPGs like DnD. I am an avid fan of story-centric video games and love watching movies.

There is something very special about coming together with a group of people who want to create stories and I would love to contribute to that magic, not only with other students and friends but also in a professional team of creatives.

I hope to learn more about animation and discover where its path might take me through an internship in the animation industry and would love for you to take a look at my work!
